Every so often I still get to attend a wedding as a civilian, with nothing expected of me other than to eat, drink and be merry. Happy occasions, each and every on of them! Kolmanskop Ghost Town

So, back when I was in Nam… (Always wanted to start a story like that!) we visited the Kolmanskop Ghost Town, just outside Luderitz. Dallas and the New Year!

Some strange things trigger the strangest of thoughts. The Nephew

Got to see The_Nephew again a little while back. Little bugger is getting mighty big now! Snapped a few photies of him “playing” — aka putting everything he can lay his little hands on in his mouth! Yeah, they’re weird that way… presumably his line of thinking goes something like: “hmm… a ball. what does that do? lets try getting that bad boy in my mouth…. nom nom nom”.
