I recently got to spend some time with Annene, her husband Werner and one little unnamed pending arrival at their beautiful home in The Strand. Soon to be mom and dad have decided to wait till the big day to find out if it’s a boy or a girl, so no news on that front just yet… we’ll all just have to be patient, I guess! But how cool is that? can you imagine the anticipation? Don’t think I’d ever be able to do it though… people who know me would attest to the fact that I’m WAY to curious to live 9 months without knowing something that’s effectively there for the knowing. In fact I’m of the opinion that I would most certainly die if I didn’t KNOW! If you want to torture me, say something like: “oh there’s something I want to tell you so badly, but I just can’t”… Torture.. and then… CERTAIN DEATH, I’m sure!

Anyhow… The wait to find out what the baby is might not be over just yet, but the wait to see the pretty pics from the day has come to a long awaited end. This is good news, seeing as I’ve been dead keen to get them up since the very day I took them. Especially this one right up here, which I have to admit I’m a pretty big fan of! LOOOOOOOVE it.. even if I do say so myself!

Oh and I almost forgot! As I was driving home, I came to a set of traffic lights where I had to turn into some or the other main road and in front of me was this most unbelievable scene… a sunset that looked like the sky was on fire! I promptly put the car in reverse. Parked. Got out the camera and took this here pic, which I don’t entirely hate.
