I shot Jaclyn and Jason’s wedding in Jozie a little while back. My first wedding up in JHB and quite the experience.


The lovely couple tied the knot in a stunning old church — dont ask me where, I was completely lost for most of the weekend! Whatever you do, don’t listen to those TOM-TOM thingies, they are NOT to be trusted! I’m pretty sure it tried to take us to the dark side of the moon… at one point I was reasonably certain it had actually succeeded.


Anyhoooo… the JHB Country Club made for an interesting change of scenery from the usual Western Cape wine estate vibe. Light was good, couple was great, roads were aweful! Heard some hillarious stories during the speaches and shot some pretty pics… also made a couple of pannicky calls to The_Brother_in_Law for some directions.


Now then, with Wedding Season behind us I get to take a wee little break! YAY for holidays! Gonna take Route 62 all the way down to PE for The_Mother’s birthday, then The_Nephew’s christening and then off to the Karoo for a week long stay on the farm. I’m back on June 3rd for a wedding… If you’re trying to get hold of me in the meantime, send a mail and I’ll get back to you ASAP! no cell reception on the farm…
